asked the Minister for Finance if he will make provision in the forthcoming Finance Bill to enable the Revenue Commissioners to refund the duty paid on all imported articles where such articles are re-exported unused—in whole or in part—on account of defect and/or other causes, within a period of one month; whether he is aware that the Revenue Commissioners are at present compelled by reason of this omission to refuse refunds on certain returned articles.
