Vol. 19 No. 12

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PLACING OF ORDERS FOR 'BUSES.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if it is a fact that the Great Southern Railway Company have placed an order for one hundred 'buses in England. And whether, in view of the fact that very many employees of the Great Southern Railway Company have been employed for four days only per week during the past twenty months, he can take any steps to ensure that the Company should not import 'buses, and instead have them manufactured in their own works to the benefit of their skilled employees.

I am informed by the Great Southern Railway Company that no 'buses have been ordered by the Company.
