(a) The MSS. of books received for publication under this scheme are submitted to a Committee of Irish scholars and the recommendation of this Committee is considered when a decision is being made whether a book is suitable for publication under the scheme.
(b) A list of books sanctioned for use in primary schools is issued periodically.
Books proposed for use in primary schools under the jurisdiction of the Department of Education are sanctioned only after consideration by Inspectors of the Primary Branch.
