Vol. 21 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DIVISION OF TIPPERARY ESTATES.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he will state what steps have been taken, if any, as to dividing up the following estates, viz.:—Greene's, Lattin, Co. Tipperary; Baker's, Lattin, Co. Tipperary; Barrymore, Co. Tipperary; and if no division has taken place, whether the Minister will state when such division will take place, and also the rental at which these lands shall be let to incoming tenants.

Proceedings are pending for the acquisition of the estates of N.J. Greene, Nicholas Greene, and Allan Baker, Co. Tipperary, but the Land Commission are not yet in a position to say when the lands will be taken over and divided.

As regards the estate of Lord Barrymore, the Land Commission is in negotiation for the purchase of the lands of Cordangan and Cloonfinglas. The lands of Ballinree and Windmill have been divided and the allottees put in possession.
