As already intimated in the Dáil on more than one occasion, the consideration of the question of the inclusion of Lay Assistants in convent schools among those entitled to the benefits of the Teachers' Pension Fund is awaiting the result of the actuarial investigation of the Fund in the Department of Finance. That investigation is proceeding at present.
