Vol. 21 No. 15

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - LAND COMMISSION ANNUITIES.

asked the Minister for Fisheries how many decrees for possession against Land Commission annuitants are at present in the hands of the Sheriffs and Land Commission; and whether, in view of the distressed state of agriculture, of which the large number of failures to pay is a proof, he intends to proceed with the enforcement of the decrees and consequent dispossession of a large number of farmers.

There are no decrees for possession against Land Commission annuitants at present in the hands of the Sheriffs. The Land Commission obtained eight orders for possession during the last twelve months, but these have not yet been enforced.
