The Land Commission made an offer under Section 36 of the Land Act, 1923, for 445 acres of land in the townlands of Fidbaun, Acres, and Highstreet, the property of the representatives of Martin Halvey, deceased, and they are still conducting negotiations with a view to the acquisition of the lands, which are subject to a Land Purchase Annuity.
