Vol. 22 No. 12

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CAHIRCIVEEN (CO. KERRY) BRIDGE.

(for Tomás O Raghallaigh) asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that the old bridge at Cahirciveen, County Kerry, was condemned many years ago as dangerous and unfit for traffic; and whether he will request the Kerry County Council to proceed at once to construct a new bridge, the loan for which was sanctioned some months ago.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. This bridge is to be rebuilt; the County Council will be in a position to invite tenders in about a fortnight's time.
