Vol. 22 No. 15

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - AFFORESTATION.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will state the total number of acres acquired by his Department in each county for the purpose of afforestation, and the total number of trees planted in each county during the years 1923 to 1927 (inclusive).

The total area acquired by the Department for afforestation purposes, in twelve counties, is 39,753 acres. I am sending the Deputy a table setting forth the acreage for each county, together with a table giving the detailed figures asked for in the second portion of his question.

Will the table referred to by the Minister be published in the Official Reports?
