I propose to introduce the Finance Bill on the first day of the sitting next week. I shall have to introduce one Supplementary Resolution, because I am advised that the new agreement for relief requires a Resolution. I propose to introduce that Supplementary Resolution next week and to take the First Stage of the Finance Bill immediately after. Then I propose to take the Second Reading of the Finance Bill in a few days, and to allow about a fortnight, if possible, between the Second Reading and the Committee Stage, so that there may be plenty of time for Deputies to put in amendments of various sorts. There is one other matter that I forgot to mention the other evening. I was asked about it when the Resolution on motors was before the Dáil. At present, motor tractors used for drawing ploughs or other agricultural implements would be liable to tax. We will put an amendment into the Bill that will exempt these particular tractors.
