asked the Minister for Education if he can state the number of registered secondary teachers employed in secondary schools recognised by his Department during the current school year, showing (a) the number of each sex; (b) the number who are priests, or members of religious orders or teaching communities; (c) the number not included under (b); (d) the numbers in receipt of increment grant; (e) the numbers eligible for increment grant but not receiving such grant; (f) the main reasons why the teachers in class (e) do not receive such grant.
