CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - FENCING OF CO. KILDARE ESTATE.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he will state the reasons for the delay on the part of the Land Commission in paying John Byrne, Coolcarrigan, Donedea, County Kildare, for building 60 perches of earthen fencing on the Coolcarrigan Estate, at 5s. per perch, and £1 5s. for closing a gap, less £5 paid on account; the balance due being £11 5s.; and Patrick Byrne, Blackwood, Robertstown, who built 56 perches of fencing, less £5 on account, the balance due being £9; whether he is aware that this work was finished about the 7th March last; and whether he will expedite payment to these working men.

The payments for the erection of fences referred to in question have now been made.
