I do not know if I would be in order in drawing the attention of the Minister for Justice to a report which I got within the last half hour regarding a matter that occurred in my constituency in Clare. It is with reference to the beating of a man by the C.I.D.

I do not think that the Deputy would be in order in referring to it now.
My only reason for mentioning it is that the House is not likely to meet again for a considerable time. Otherwise I would postpone it until I have the facts verified.
