Vol. 33 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ross Road (Killarney).

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that the importance of steam-rolling Ross Road, leading to Ross Castle, Killarney, has been stressed at meetings of the Kerry County Council and the Killarney Urban Council, and if the Minister will now state if it is his intention to expedite this work by giving a grant.

I have had representations from Killarney Urban District Council in this matter. As the result of an inspection made by inspectors of the Department on the 9th January, 1930, I informed the Council on the 29th January that the road is not one in respect of which a grant can properly be made at present.
