Vol. 35 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Greene Estate (Co. Tipperary).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when it is proposed to divide the estate of Mr. Nicholas Greene, at Shronell and Ballinadruckilly, Co. Tipperary, and whether it is the intention of the Land Commission to exclude the villagers of Lattin from participation in the division.

The scheme for the division of the lands of Shronell and Ballynadruckilly, the property of Mr. Nicholas Greene, is at present in course of preparation and the Land Commission are, therefore, not in a position to say when the lands will be divided or to whom the divisions will be allotted. The claims of all persons coming within the provisions of Section 31 of the Land Act, 1923, will be fully considered on the division of the lands.

May I take it from the Parliamentary Secretary that instructions have not been issued to exclude the villagers from the estate?
