The Land Commission have in hands proceedings for the acquisition of the lands of Monacow, Lenaboy and Laughil, comprising some 478 acres, on the estate of Nicholas Brown, and in addition have had an inspection made of the lands of Fortbrown and Knock, comprising some 181 acres, on the Burke Estate, with the view to their acquisition.
