asked the Minister for Education to state (a) the number of applications for new school buildings which were under consideration by his Department on the 31st March last, and the number of such applications which have been received since that date; (b) the number of applications for improvements to school buildings which were under consideration by his Department on the 31st March last, and the number of applications which have been received since; (c) the number of cases in which grants for new school buildings and for improvements to existing school buildings have been sanctioned since the 31st March last; and (d) the number of applications for new school buildings and for improvement to existing school buildings, consideration of which is held up owing to no moneys being available for such purpose.
