Vol. 36 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork-Kinsale Road.

Tomás O Maoláin

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he has received representations from the Cork County Council and other local bodies in Cork regarding the necessity of steam rolling the Cork-Kinsale main road, and, if so, whether in view of the unemployment existing in this area he will make arrangements that money will be allocated from the relief schemes grant for this work.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. I understand the present position is that the County Surveyor is preparing a scheme in connection with the matter.
