Vol. 39 No. 4

Written Answers. - Ballyseedy School (Tralee).

asked the Minister for Education if he will state what is the present position with regard to the application of the manager of Ballyseedy National School, Tralee, for a grant towards the cost of erection of a new schoolhouse, and if he is yet in a position to say whether or not a grant will be available for this purpose; and, if so, when.

The application of the manager for a grant to erect a new school to replace the existing Ballyseedy National School, has been considered, and it is proposed to make a grant for the erection of the building.

My Department hopes to be in a position to allocate a grant in this case in the near future, but, at the moment, I cannot give a definite date.
