I should point out that for some time past detailed investigations into this very difficult matter have been proceeding in my Department, but have not yet been completed. Accordingly, the foregoing statement should be regarded as provisional and subject to amendment. Furthermore, there are some other heads of invisible trade for which it has not been possible to make estimates, so that even a preliminary figure for the net balance of payments in the aggregate cannot be given.
Tourist traffic would be one.
