asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the cause of the delay by the Irish Land Commission in giving consent to the sale of the holding of Thomas Holmes, R.O. 2542/12 on the John M. Dey Estate, Pollycurragune and Ballybane, Tuam, County Galway.

An application was received on behalf of Thomas Holmes for permission to sell the parcel of land referred to which was allotted to him for enlargement of, and consolidation with his existing holding. The matter was under consideration when a subsequent letter was received on 23rd January last from the solicitor acting for Mr. Holmes, withdrawing the application.
