asked the Minister for Justice whether the members of the armed body who subjected the hall at Bunegara, near Listowel, to firing on the night of the 11th October last, while members of the new Volunteer Force were drilling there, have been identified and charged, and, if so, if he will state before what type of court they were charged, and if convicted what punishment was imposed; and if the arms used on this occasion have been traced and taken possession of by the police.

In this case two suspects were arrested under the provisions of Part 3 of Article 2A of the Constitution. On their refusal to account for their movements they were brought before the Constitution (Special Powers) Tribunal and charged with this offence. They were convicted and sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
