The Inter-Departmental Committee on Public Works have not so far completed their inquiries, but an interim report has been presented. As the conclusions incorporated in that report are of a purely preliminary and tentative character, it is not thought that any useful purpose would be served by publication.
Is it intended to publish the interim and the final report when the final report is received?
It is extremely probable that the final report will supersede the interim report completely. The interim report, as I have already explained, is merely a preliminary one.
