The process of valuing samples of the 1934 tobacco crop has been completed.
Catalogues of the tobacco from the various rehandling stations are being prepared, and copies will be sent to the Minister for Industry and the rehandler concerned in each case, as soon as possible. As the preparation of the catalogues involves calculations based on the final weight of every package and the value of the tobacco therein, and these final weights (owing to the questions of moisture content, etc.) have not yet been determined in every case, it is not possible to complete the catalogues until all outstanding points in relation to such matters have been cleared up.
