Supplementary and Additional Estimates.

Leave granted to introduce the following Supplementary and Additional Estimates for the service of the year ending on 31st day of March, 1936, namely:—Votes Nos. 44 (National Health Insurance), 73 (Widows' and Orphans' Pensions)—(Minister for Finance).

When is it proposed to take those Estimates?

Wednesday next.

When will they be circulated?

Probably on Saturday.

That means that Deputies in the country will not get them until Monday.

They relate, one to widows' and orphans' pensions, and the other to national health insurance. The Dáil has already approved of the national health insurance proposals and they are now embodied in an Act. The amount of the Estimate will be the amount mentioned in the Schedule to the Act.

Will the Minister try to have them circulated to-morrow, if possible?

What is the purpose of other Estimates?

To provide the expenses of operating the Act.

Estimates ordered to be taken on Wednesday, 11th December.
