asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is now in a position to state if the valuation of the Unified Society for the five-year period ended December, 1933, has been completed; whether the committee of the society has been requested to prepare a scheme of additional benefits to become operative as from July 5th next, and if he will state whether any scheme of additional benefits submitted to him will be laid on the Table of the Dáil before being sanctioned.

The valuation of the Unified Society for the period ended the 31st December, 1933, has not yet been completed, and the committee of the society has not, consequently, been requested to prepare a scheme of additional benefits to become operative as from the 6th July next. It is not proposed to lay any such scheme submitted by the committee on the Table of the Dáil.
