Detailed proposals for a sewerage scheme for Gort, County Galway, have not yet been received in my Department from the Galway Board of Health and Public Assistance. Several requests have been made to the board to submit plans. I understand the delay in their preparation is mainly due to the illness of the engineer in charge of the scheme. I am requesting the board again to have the preparation of the scheme expedited.
