92 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Education if she will provide finances to Clifden Community School, County Galway, for a playing pitch to cater for 445 pupils attending this school who at present do not have any playing pitch. [7137/95]
My Department has received an application for funding towards the provision of a playing pitch at Clifden Community School.
Due to demands on the capital resources available, priority has had to be given for some time to the provision of essential teaching accommodation. As a result, it has not been possible to make funding available towards the provision of a playing pitch at the school.
