Proposals for the amendment of the rates of rent allowance payable to members of the Gárda Síochána are at present under consideration and I hope shortly to be in a position to announce the decision.
Can the Minister give any approximate idea as to when the decision in this matter will be announced?
I am trying to expedite it and I hope in a few weeks to be able to make an announcement.
