The final report of the Economy Committee has been received and considered by the Government. The report was prepared for the confidential information of the Government. At the time of the setting up of the committee, there was no intention that the report would be published, as it was likely to contain matters of a confidential nature that it would not be in the public interest to disclose. I am, however, consulting the Departments concerned and the members of the committee and will in due course carefully consider whether it is possible and desirable to publish the report.
