asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the number of (a) persons with means, (b) persons without means, discriminating between (1) men, and (2) women, having applications current to unemployment assistance during the week preceding the 24th February, 1940, in each of the employment areas (1) Dublin and Dun Laoghaire, (2) North Leinster, (3) South Leinster, (4) North Munster, (5) South Munster, (6) North Connacht, (7) South Connacht, (8) Ulster, and the number of others, discriminating between (1) men, and (2) women, (3) boys, and (4) girls, on the live register (including persons with unemployment insurance claims current) in each of these employment areas during the week preceding the 24th February, 1940; and the totals of such persons.
