asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the quantity and value of turf drawn from the bog in each county and province in Éire during the year 1939, and the total quantity so drawn.

The following statement, which is based on figures supplied by enumerators of agricultural statistics, gives a rough estimate of the quantities of turf drawn from the bog in the year 1939:—
