The Land Commission have had under consideration the case of John O'Driscoll and, with due regard to the circumstances, they have decided not to take any steps towards providing him with a holding.
Is not this man an evicted tenant within the meaning of the Act? Has he no rights under the land code?
I am advised that he is not a descendant of an evicted tenant within the meaning of the Act. If the Deputy will be good enough to call on me, I will give him some private information.

Would the Minister say on what date this man's claim first came into the Department?
That is a separate question.
The evicted tenants went out in 1881, and we are getting them back still.
