Vol. 82 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Petrol Supplies for Motor-boat Owners.

asked the Minister for Supplies if it will be possible to arrange for a supply of petrol during the summer months to motor-boat owners at Glengarriff and such places, who are generally poor men, and whose livelihood depends to a great extent on the earnings of these boats in the short tourist season.

During the season last year, it was possible to make allowances to the owners of motor boats operated for holiday purposes in Glengarriff and other places, and if the supplies of petrol available during the coming season are such as to make it possible to continue these arrangements I shall be glad to do so.
