I have received a complaint of the nature referred to in the question in respect of butter food vouchers only.
Food vouchers are normally exchangeable for the appropriate quantity and kind of food within one week from the date of issue of the vouchers. In the exceptional circumstances of the past few weeks in regard to butter supplies, I am examining the possibility of arranging that holders of out-of-date butter food vouchers will be enabled to exchange those vouchers for butter when the supply position permits.
