The preliminary work which is being undertaken by the Unified Society in connection with the contractual relations underlying a scheme of additional benefits will take considerable time. I am not in a position to give a definite date for the actual introduction of such benefits. Every effort is being made by the society and the Department to have the scheme in operation at the earliest possible date.
