asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he intends to publish forthwith the interim report on dairying and cattle improvement schemes, which was furnished to his Department some time ago by the Post War Agricultural Policy Commission; and what steps he proposes to take to implement the recommendations made in that report.

The report is at present under examination in my Department. I have as yet come to no decision on the question of its publication.
Would the Minister speed up the examination of the report in view of the fact that there is a definite decline in dairying and in milk supplies and that it is likely to be greater in the spring months?
As far as possible, but a hasty decision would he a bad thing.
