asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he received a recommendation recently from the commissioner administering the affairs of the Dublin County Council in favour of granting a supplementary bonus or increase in wages to the road workers and other low-paid employees of the county council; and, if so, whether he has reached a decision regarding it; further, if such recommendation has not been received, whether he will now instruct the commissioner to review the present wages of these workers with a view to giving them a reasonable increase to meet the continuously increasing cost of living.
