asked the Minister for Lands if he will state (a) the total number of land holders in Mayo, the poor law valuation of whose lands is under £10; (b) the number of land holders in Mayo whose lands are held on the rundale system; (c) the amount of land in the hands of the Land Commission in Mayo and let under temporary convenience lettings; (d) the amount of money collected from land holders in Mayo by the Land Commission in respect of temporary convenience lettings during the last financial year, and (e) the estimated number of land holders which, in the opinion of the Land Commission, it would be necessary to remove from Mayo to relieve the congestion in that county.
asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether it is proposed to migrate any tenants from the congested areas in South Mayo this year; and, if so, how many and from which estates.

It is not possible to answer these questions explicitly in the form in which they have been put, even if longer notice had been given, but I am having the matters raised examined by the Land Commission and I shall send the Deputy such information as is available.
