The Irish Sailors' and Soldiers' Land Trust built 2,719 houses for the accommodation of British ex-servicemen who served in the 1914-1918 world war. This number does not include houses provided by the trust in Northern Ireland. I understand that the houses provided viz. 2,719 did not meet all the applications to the trust made by British ex-servicemen.
