It is not the practice to disclose details of purchases made by my Department. I am, accordingly, not prepared to give the particulars requested in regard to horses purchased for the Army Equitation School.
Is the Minister aware that one of the members of the purchasing committee sub-contracted to an outsider for the purchase of the horses and will he take steps to see that that does not occur again?
