Written Answers. - Kildare Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have initiated proceedings for the acquisition, for division, of the Patterton lands comprising 200 acres at Ardkill, Carbury; and, if so, if he will state how the matter now stands.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the land of Ardkill on the Patterton estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission propose to acquire the lands of Mrs. Boylan, of Knockirr, in the townland of Kilcooney, Carbury, County Kildare; and, if so, if he will state how the matter now stands.

The question appears to refer to the lands of Knockcor, County Kildare, in the occupation of Mrs. Mary Boylan.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of these lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission propose to acquire the lands of Miss Murphy at Carbury, County Kildare; for division amongst local uneconomic holders and landless men.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply given to his previous question of 23rd May, 1945, relative to this estate, to which reply I have nothing to add at present.
