Vol. 99 No. 1

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 15. Private Deputies' Business, No. 15, will be taken at 7.30, when the business will be the resumption of the debate upon Motion No. 1 on List No. 8.

Is the rumour I hear— that the Taoiseach has arranged to get the last word on that motion—true?

Wait and see.

Is the Tánaiste in a position to say yet when we are going to take the Public Health Bill?

Would the Deputy repeat that question to-morrow?

Before we pass to the next item, may I inquire if we are all to bring in blankets and overcoats, or is it proposed that some one should light the stove to heat the premises? Are you cold, Sir? I am perished. Are we to come armed with rugs to-morrow? Is there no heating here?

There will be, after a while.

What did the Tánaiste say?

The Deputy will get plenty of hot air in due course.

I have no doubt that, by the time we have finished to-night, we will have heard a lot about Maureen O'Hara, the Republic and everything else.
