I move:—
That leave be given by Dáil Éireann to introduce, the following Supplementary Estimate for the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1946, namely: — Vote No. 41 (Local Government and Public Health).
When will the Estimate be taken?
Next week.
I am sorry, Sir, but with regard to leave to introduce this Estimate, I think we ought to take it to-morrow.
What is it about?
It is a very simple matter. It is merely, in the case of one sub-head, to correct a drafting error or, at least, to state precisely the persons who would be entitled to receive boots, either free or at less than cost. The other purpose of the sub-head is to give effect to the provisions of the Bill recently passed by this House to assist in providing accommodation for persons suffering from tuberculosis.
Will the Estimate be circulated this evening?
We hope so.
