asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if representations have been made to him by the Dublin Advisory Committee for Juvenile Employment to have the occupation of messenger brought within the scope of the Trade Board Acts; and, if so, whether the views of the committee have been referred to the Commission on Youth Unemployment for their information and possible consideration.

I have received representations from the Dublin Juvenile Advisory Committee on this subject. I have not referred them to the Commission on Youth Unemployment but the Dublin Juvenile Advisory Committee, in common with other similar bodies, have had full opportunity to put their views directly before the commission in writing and by oral evidence.
