Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Senior Primary School Enrolments.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state the number of (a) boys, and (b) girls enrolled in senior primary schools.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle and if the Deputy has no objection, I shall have the answer, which contains columns of figures, circulated with the Official Report.

Following is the reply:—

National schools are not classified as senior schools and junior schools but the latest figures available showing the total numbers of boys and girls enrolled in national schools according to age on 30th June, 1944, are:—
