I received a deputation from the National Agricultural Association on the 29th March regarding the farm labour strike referred to by the Deputy. I explained the position in regard to the settlement of wages disputes and arranged for the deputation to be received by a representative of the Minister for Industry and Commerce who fixed a meeting between employers and employees. As already announced in the Press, work has been resumed by the employees concerned in this particular dispute and the negotiations are proceeding.
