Vol. 100 No. 9

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper:—Nos. 1 and 2, Votes 32 to 40. No. 2 will be taken at 6.30. It is not proposed to allocate time for Private Deputies' Business.

I presume if we finish the Justice Votes before 10.30 we will resume the Public Health Bill?

It has not been so ordered.

That is what we want to get clear.

I think we may leave it as it is, Sir.

It was assumed that the Justice Votes would go at least to 10.30.

I just want to get clear if it is the intention to finish, if possible, before 10.30.

If the Votes were finished it would be a good idea to get on further with the Public Health Bill.

Shall we say, 1, 2, 1?

It is only a safeguard.

Yes, if it does not mean that we go back to No. 1 at 10 o'clock to-night for half an hour's work.

That depends on the good sense of the House.

If it was not more than half an hour it would not be worth while.

It would not be worth while.
