It is not proposed to introduce legislation on the lines of the first part of the Deputy's question. As to the second part, I would refer the Deputy to the reply given to his previous question of 20th September, 1944, to which I have nothing to add.
Is the Minister aware that, in reply to my previous question, he did not give to the House any reason why this unjust and antiquated form of taxation should be continued?
