The number of ex-national teachers in receipt, on 31st March, 1946, of pensions of the amounts mentioned were as follows:—(a) under £52 per annum, 309; (b) between £52 and £78 per annum, 143; (c) between £78 and £104 per annum, 218; (d) between £104 and £130 per annum, 700; (e) between £130 and £156 per annum, 810. 934 others had pensions of more than £156 per annum.
